Why my microphone (mic) doesnt work when i call to people in skype?? pleaseee help!!!!?
Hello, I’ve got small problem. When i am calling to people in skype and talking with them, they can not hear me, i thought my mic broke but i bought new one but it still doenst work when i call to people, i can hear them but they can not ?? why??? sorry for bad english… PLEASEE HELLPP!!! any idea?
Skype can be tricky. First did you try your mic on other applications? GO to control panel, sounds and audio devices, voice, check to make sure the device it lists is yours, if not click the drop down menu and change it to yours if it is installed and then click on test device. If this is all good you may have skype set up wrong and you may have to reconfigure for the new device.
I have not used it in a while and I do not have it installed so I can not tell you exactly how to set it up, but if you click through the settings you will see something about mic. And you will again have drop down menu and you have to make sure it matches your computer settings.
You need to go into mic settings and check them and make sure it matches with your current set up.
Ok I reinstalled skype so I could see, click on Tools, options, audio settings and then you should see the mic. Check to see that the settings are the same as were on your computer. If they are different click the drop down menu and change them to the same as your computer.
